We are looking for contributions by intersex individuals!
Intersex - for us - describes individuals whos bodies do not (entirely) fit the normative categories of "male" or "female" bodies.
We see intersex bodies as natural variations of sex characteristics and work with a human rights-based approach.
Some intersex individuals were diagnosed (as intersex) by doctors, others were not. We think that most intersex individuals know their bodies, and which categories they do (not) fit, best themselves.
Some intersex variations are discovered before or at birth, some during childhood or youth, some later in life and others never.
(Some) intersex individuals call themselves inter*, intersex, hermaphrodite, herm, ...
Everyone who fits this description, is very welcome to submit their contribution!
