  • 2023-2024 Dog Race for Pucks N' Paws Night

  • Thank you for signing up for our first annual dog race! 

    Rules and procedures for the night:

    • We are only accepting dogs that weigh 35 lbs or less
    • All dogs need to come with a cage and pee pads or a dog carrier
    • All dogs must be house trained
    • Dog must have two owners attend the game and take part in the on ice race
    • Both owners must purchase a ticket for the game. (Group pricing of $14/person)
    • All dogs must be on a leash at all times when out of their cage/carrier or not running the race on the ice
    • No dogs are allowed in the stands and must go back home
    • The dogs will be in a loud environment. The dogs must not be skitish with constant loud noises.
    • The dogs must get along with other dogs
    • The dogs must be housetrained. It is important that we do no have an accidents on the ice as it will disrupt the rest of the game and could potentially end the dog races during future games.

      On the night of the game:
    • All dogs and owners must enter in through gate 3, at back of the SOEC between 5:00 and 5:30 (puck drop is at 6:00)
    • The dogs will be dropped off in a locker room and the owners must enter into the arena through gate 1 and scan their tickets after dropping of their dogs
    • Owners must meet at guest services at the 10 minute mark in the first period
    • Owners will prep dogs at the south end of the rink
    • The dogs can not stay for the game and must go home or placed back in their kennels fort he remainder of the game.
    • All owners will get a wristband to re-enter the arena after dropping off their dog or have them use the washroom
    • All owners must sign a liability waiver before attending the game

     

    If there are any issues with your pup during the night, we will ask you remove them from the arena with no refund or credit.
