  • Samhain at Swift 2026 - Application Form

  • Celebrating Púca Festival, Swift Cultural Centre presents “Samhain at Swift”, an open exhibition of artworks exploring themes of the night, the wild, the ancient, festive, mythical and magical by local artists drawn to the lore, legends and land of our ancient county and island. Exhibition runs Saturday 24th October - Wed 4th November 2026.

  • PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING:

    • Artworks submitted must explore one or more of the following themes - the night, the wild, the ancient, Halloween, mythical and magical lore, legends and the land of our ancient county and island.
    • To apply, you must be originally from or currently living in County Meath.
    • Entry is free.
    • Online application forms will only be accepted up until 5pm on Friday 25th September 2026.
    • No late entries accepted.
    • NOTE: Artworks will be selected from your online application. Selected artworks must be delivered as photographed in your online application.
    • There is a limit of 2 artworks per artist.
    • All images submitted online must be high resolution (minimum 1MB). Please ensure the file(s) you are uploading contain your name and the title of the work in the file name.
    • Video entries must be submitted by adding a link to your work in a Word file or PDF. Upload your Word file/PDF containing your video link in the 'Upload Work' section.
    • Artists will be notified on or by Friday 9th October 2026 if their work has been selected or not.
    • If selected, artworks must be delivered to Swift on Wednesday 21st October 2026 between 10am to 12pm.
    • When delivering, artworks will only be accepted if labelled clearly and correctly on the back with the entrant's name, work title, dimensions in centimetres, medium, price, year of completion and price if for sale (including 20% Swift commission). An arrow indicating correct viewpoint should also be visible if needed.
    • All wall-based artworks must be ready for hanging, framed if desired, with appropriate hanging system attached. Swift will not be responsible for applying hanging systems if selected. Artworks may be eliminated if not ready to hang in a safe and secure manner. 
    • Correct dimensions must be submitted on your online application, including frame if applicable.
    • A commission of 20% will be payable to Swift on all sales. Please ensure to factor this in when submitting your price and labelling your work.
    • Samhain at Swift 2026 runs at Swift Cultural Centre 24th October – 4th November 2026. All welcome.
