  • In this, Scotland’s Year of Stories, our theme for 2022 is Once Upon A Time…

    To celebrate our 50th anniversary we want to showcase what makes Macrobert special, YOU! This is an opportunity to tell us about yourself, the place you live, the people you love or even something fantastical. 

    *All submissions for the competition should be A3 or A4 and to submit your work, attach a clear photograph of your artwork (we recommend placing your artwork on a flat surface to take the photo and crop the photo to the edges). 

    Our categories are:

    Ages 5 – 10yrs
    Ages 11 – 14yrs
    Ages 15 – 17yrs
    Ages 18+

    Artworks must be submitted by midnight on Friday 27th May 2022.

  • Please be aware that by participating in this competition you agree that Macrobert Arts Centre has permission to use your artwork generally in the following ways:

    • Online exhibition (curated by Macrobert Arts Centre).
    • Physical exhibiton (curated by Macrobert Arts Centre) as part of live/pre-recorded online content.
    • Marketing materials including Macrobert Arts Centre website, social media channels, event posters & flyers, printed live guides, printed cinema guides, reports & evaluation for key funders & supporters and annual reviews.
    • Macrobert Arts Centre would like to credit each artist in the exhibition using their full name. However, we understand this may not be ideal for everyone. Please specify how you wish to be identified below:
